Date of Birth: September 18 2022

Size (adult): medium to large

Adoption Fee: $450 for a fun loving pup like me

Good with Dogs? Yes
Yes. I think it would be best if I go to a home with another dog. I have been learning a lot from the adult dog at the foster home.
Good with Cats? Unknown
I haven't met any yet but I'm sure I will be just fine.
Good with Kids? Yes
I’ve played with kids as young as 8 years old and I have loved them all!

Critter Twitter:

I was a little bit nervous when I first arrived at my foster home. But every new experience I have makes me more confident. I am more brave when I am with my fosters 3 year old dog. I learn a lot and pick up cues from her. I’m a puppy, but I’m not destructive. I don’t chew things, except for toys. I am very affectionate and sweet. I enjoy playing with the dog in my foster home and being with my humans. I like to play but I also enjoy cuddling. I’ve been described as a little teddy bear (I think it’s my soft, fuzzy fur). I love going for walks and this is a great time for me to learn new things - such as various commands (sit, wait, come) and it is also a great time to meet other people and dogs and to learn that they can be fun and not scary. Sometimes when I see dogs on walks I bark at them because I’m unsure. But I love playing with dogs when I’m introduced to them in a safe space (friends houses, puppy hour at The Dog House, etc). I’m very smart and I learn things very fast! I learned how to use the bell to indicate I wanted outside in just 3 days. This also means that I love to be challenged with enrichment games. I enjoy playing outside in the snow and don’t get cold easily. I think I’d really enjoy outdoor activities, like hiking and running (when I get a bit older).

About my Behaviour:

As a condition of adoption, we must register in a force free training class for puppies. We'll learn so much and bond and I can have some socializing time with other dogs in a safe environment, which is really critical for young pups! Please check out www.albertaforcefreealliance.com for some great force free trainers!

How’s my Health?

I am up to date on my vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and spayed.
