Rescue Story: My current owner has had some life changes, so Zoe's is helping me find my new furever home!
*As a courtesy post, Zoe's has not met "Sprout". We facilitate the adoption behind the scenes to ensure a safe rehoming. We make sure the animal is up to date on vet care and spayed/neutered - Zoe's does not personally know the animal. It is the adopters' responsibility to do their due diligence - ask for vet records and microchip information to have it changed*

I don't really like large dogs, but I have lived with a small dog before and did well after getting to know them

I have spent time with other cats, and after proper introductions I enjoyed their company. Preferably it would be another independent, not overly demanding cat
Good with Kids? Yes
Older kids would be best, as I prefer affection on my own terms

Hi! I'm Sprout! I'm a well rounded queen bee. If you're looking for a companion that isn't demanding, and just wants to have love on her terms, that's me! I'm really good at being independent. I get short bursts of playful energy and have zoomies or play with toys. I can be shy at first, but once I get comfortable with a new human, I'm happy to hang out or even lay beside you for cuddles. One of my most favorite things is to snuggle right up in the morning until it's time to get up. I love to look out my windows and watch the birds - that's really the only time you'll hear me talk! I sleep most of the day, and love to sunbathe.
About my Behaviour:
I'm a calm and sweet girl. I'm litter trained and always go in my litterbox. I love my scratching post and know not to scratch anywhere else. I really love to shred that paper you leave in the bathroom though - it's just so fun! I would be happiest in a calm home, maybe with some older kids who can respect my boundaries, another friendly but independent cat, or even a solo person who needs a companion.
