I am a very happy puppy! I like to have a set routine/schedule (naps included!!) I love brain games and puzzles, playing tug with my people and other dogs, and snuggling up on the couch. I can sit, down, touch and watch and I'm learning how to leave it. I prefer playing with my foster sister, but will entertain myself when she needs a break. My foster sister has taught me how to understand doggy communication and I'm well on my way to understanding the humans too. I like to experience the world with my mouth, so foster mom has helped me learn to be gentle with human skin. I'm comfortable in my harness, leash and the silly sweaters mom puts on me (at least they keep me warm). I nap through nail trims (no big deal). And most of all I love laying out on the patio with my big sis, watching the leaves blow around. Don't I sound like the perfect puppy!! If you think so as well, put in an application for me, I can't wait to meet you!
About my Behaviour:
I'm off to a great start, I am working on potty training and crate training but I will need to continue working on it, as well as practicing my manners. I will need a lot of mental stimulation (apparently I'm pretty smart).
As a condition of adoption, we must register in a force free training class for puppies. We'll learn so much and bond and I can have some socializing time with other dogs in a safe environment, which is really critical for young pups!
