Good with Dogs? Yes
Yes! I love dogs of all sizes and would do well with another dog in the home. I have an energetic puppy play style so would do best with a similarly playful dog.
Good with Cats? Unknown

Good with Kids? Unknown
I’ve only met kids aged 10 & up and am ok with them. With small kids I might be tempted to take food from their hands.

Critter Twitter:

Hey everyone, my name is Ruby. The first year of my life was tough, begging for food, getting into fights with other strays and coyotes, no shelter from the hot Oklahoma sun and ugh the ticks. So being a house dog is the best thing ever!! I’m all better after going to the vet, food just appears in a bowl twice a day, A/C is amazing, and oh how wonderful are pets, I’ll roll over all pretty for tummy scratches!! I love to run and play with my foster doggie sister and brother and I’m even gentle with the little Chihuahua, even though he sometimes growls at me. I’d love to have a new brother or sister in my furever home, who is confident! When I’m unsure in a new situation I look to my foster sister and copy whatever she does. After a walk and play time with my doggie siblings I just love to snuggle with my human, relax and get belly rubs. Everyone I meet is shocked that I was a stray, I just love everyone and everything so much! I love car rides and fall asleep immediately so I’m a great travel buddy. I’d also be ok as an only pet so long as my human was around full-time and could give me attention and go to dog parks and daycare sometimes. I’m still building my confidence in this new life and need a leader to help guide me, be it human or doggie sibling. If you are looking for a playful, loyal, love life to the fullest sidekick, please consider adopting me.

About my Behaviour:

I am house trained and crate trained. I rarely bark but I will whine sometimes when left alone too long or if I
really want to go meet a new doggie friend. I’m a very loyal pup and have become attached to my rescuers so may suffer some separation anxiety when first brought into a new home. But my foster parents say I’m very resilient and overcome challenges and change quickly. I’m learning to walk nice on leash but I get excited and pull a bit more when I see critters and other dogs. I’ve learned some basic cues and would benefit from obedience training to improve my skills and build our bond. I’m a quick learner and will do anything for treats

How’s my Health?

I am spayed, microchipped, dewormed and up to date on my vaccines.
