Rescue Story:
Rambo here! I’m seeking my forever home at no fault of my own. I’ve had to move between a couple homes the last couple of years because my owners weren’t able to keep me. I don’t hold it against them - I know it means that this time I’ll be adopted for good!

Good with Dogs? Yes
I’ve been excellent with all the dogs I’ve met so far. Just like with young kids, I prefer to have space to go and do my own thing. Rambunctious dogs make me uncomfortable and I’ll ask them nicely to leave me alone.
Good with Cats? Yes
I ignored my two foster cats until I learned my one foster brother loves to play - now I’ll playfully chase him when he wants to be!
Good with Kids? Yes
I am great with calm, older children. I have spent time around kids from toddler age and up. I prefer to have space to do my own thing but LOVE to cuddle and be pet. I will need to be supervised of course as I will steal any food and will paw for attention!

I’m a very relaxed dog 99% of the time! That other 1% is whenever I think there may be a T-R-E-A-T involved.. then I’m very excited! Okay.. maybe 98% of the time I’m calm. I also love when I get to enjoy a W-A-L-K (I haven’t quite learned to spell but I sure do know those two words!). I love snuggling on my dog bed, getting belly rubs and shaking a paw. I will sit still for nail trims, heel on leash quite good, but still need many of my manners worked on! I am house trained but not crate trained. I’m a quick learner and an amazing companion! #secondchance#smartboy

How’s my Health?
My previous homes showed their love through too many delicious calories and I was nearly twice my healthy weight when I entered foster care! I need a diligent family who will help me experience life to the fullest by continuing my weight loss journey! I am neutered and up to date on my vaccinations.
