Rescue Story:

I came to Zoe's to find my furever home

Date of Birth: Approx April 2017

Energy Level: Medium - I am still recovering from being hit by a car so I like to sleep quite a bit and I have a hard time getting up and down the stairs but every day I get a little bit stronger

Size (adult): Medium

Adoption Fee:

Good with Dogs? Yes
I am quite shy but I have settled into my foster home now and get along just fine with my foster grandma dog. I will still need careful introductions and lots of positive interactions when meeting new dogs to ensure I'm not too scared.
Good with Cats? Unknown

Good with Kids? Yes
I am quite shy but I have met some children and they seem nice. Please introduce me slowly though, I'm not quite sure what kids are yet!

Critter Twitter:

I have had a bit of a rocky start to my life. My ears are a bit small because I lost part of them to frostbite and I got hit by a car so I am a bit nervous of them when we go outside. I am gradually getting more confident though and my foster family is being very patient and making sure I meet lots of people so that I can get lots of love 🙂 I had never been on the leash until a week ago, it's ok but I'm sure when I'm all healed up I will be happy to run around at the off-leash park. I like to cuddle and lick my foster mum and I have stolen my foster grandma's special bed - it is super comfy!

About my Behaviour:

I am quite shy and do not have much experience with city life. I will need lots of positive interactions with other dogs and people. I am trying though and I have made great progress in just 2 weeks. I no longer bark when I think another dog might eat my dinner or when my foster mum is giving another dog a belly rub. I'm not really sure about the car yet but I am sure I will get used to it.

How’s my Health?

I will have my vaccinations up to date and be spayed before I go to my furever home. I am still bit stiff from my car accident but I didn't break any bones so I just need to slowly build up my strength and then I will be good as new. I am good at not having any accidents inside and am happy to sleep in a crate.
