Rescue Story:
My siblings and I came to Zoe's when we were born outside to a feral momma cat. A kind person took us and our mom in but, mom was feral and Zoe's had no room to intake her too. I guess they are really low on adult cat fosters sadly. The plan was just to TNR mom and have the caretaker feed her and provide an insulate home when she was trapped again, but she tested positive for FIV. Another rescue was able to take her in and Zoe's took one of their foster cats in exchange. We were very shy but are now ready for our forever homes!

Critter Twitter:
It’s my world and you’re living in it. I’m the first to attack a toy, the first to yell for dinner, the first to snuggle. I’m absolutely fearless and completely filled with love. I love playing so much, sometimes I just purr while I chase the string toys around and around. Once I’m done playing though, I love cuddling on your legs as I recharge my kitten batteries. #gingerboi
About my Behaviour:
I would be ok as an only cat, as long as you play with me for 20-50 minutes at least twice a day. I have a ton of energy and I need to be played out if I had no other young cat to play with me to prevent play aggression and getting into trouble. If I seem lonely you must be able to get a 2nd young cat buddy for me. I am good with other cats but I would need proper introductions, of course. I love to play with other cats so I would require at least one young cat in the home, I would pester a senior if I was the only baby.
How’s my Health?
I am fixed, micro-chipped and up to date with vaccines. I must be fed at least one meal of wet food a day for hydration as it's very important.
I tested positive for FIV on a snap test when I was just brought into care, but my quant pcr test was negative. Snap tests are known to be false positives, and kittens whose mom has FIV will always test positive, but many kittens can completely shed the virus. Since I was negative on the PCR test it's highly suggestive that it was either a false positive or I am beating the virus! I haven't been sick at all in care so it's likely that I have beat the virus. You can always do a snap test if you like for peace of mind. But the vets strongly feel it's likely that I have beat the virus.
