Rescue Story:
I was originally adopted from the Edmonton Humane Society and I lived outside on an acreage for 4 years. My family then moved into an apartment and I couldn't live there so Zoe's is helping me to find my new furever home.

My name is Oscar - but I'm anything but a Grouch!!! I am a happy go lucky boy who is learning to live the indoor life. I am house trained and am working on crate training (although I don't like it much). My ideal new home would be with a family where someone is home quite often and where I can have lots and lots of outside time. Definitely an acreage would be the best fit for me. Even though I'm a big boy - I would love nothing better than to cuddle on your lap! I just love pets and attention. I'm learning basic commands. I'm not too fond of riding in the car but with more exposure to that, I think I'll come around. I can't get enough of kids and kitties! #gobigorgohome#cuddleme
About my Behaviour:
I am dog selective. No high energy dogs, please. A calm female doggy companion would be good for me though. At 140 lbs it is difficult to walk me in the city and I get stressed out around other dogs who are being are walked too, so a fenced acreage where I can be outside but can go inside your home whenever I want and be inside at night especially is best for me.

I am neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped. Due to my age and size I should be on a joint supplement.
