Dear Diary,
Its day 42 of my mission to get the resident cat to love me. I’ve tried everything. I follow him around the house, glued to his side. I roll over and show him my belly. I purr every time I see him. But so far, I can’t get him to cuddle with me. My challenge is this two-legged being I’m not familiar with – I think she’s called a human? She keeps thwarting my efforts to enchant the resident cat by giving me treats and even rubbing my belly! Oh, but brushing and belly rubs do feel sooooo good. The more I get used to her, the more I let her get close to me, especially when she comes home after leaving with some sort of bag and jacket for about 8 hours every day. Sometimes I’ll let her pet me but sometimes I have to run away as she’s interrupting my show for this lovely resident cat. . What is a cute, fuzzy kitty like me to do? Maybe tomorrow I’ll try purring even louder to get the attention of this resident cat. Must. Keep. Trying. Wish me luck.

About my Behaviour:
I feel a lot more comfortable with people when I have a cat friend to boost my confidence. When I have a friend, I am happy to be petted and brushed. I'll need to go to a home where my people understand that I need time to come out of my shell.
