Rescue Story:

I've been returned twice to Zoe's ... once because my new cat sibling was not a fan of me and once because behaviour related to a urinary tract infection. But now that I recovered I am doing great and ready for my true forever home!

Date of Birth: February 2022

Energy Level: Low

Size (adult): Large (I am on a diet)

Adoption Fee: *Sponsored*

Good with Dogs? Very specific dog(s) only
Only dogs who would leave me alone, I dont like being chased or bothered by dogs at all.
Good with Cats? No
I have FIV which is contagious to other cats through cat bites. I am not a fan of them really so I must be a catolo.
Good with Kids? Yes

Critter Twitter:

I am a big boy and I love to purr. You can pick me up and hug me and kiss me and brush me and tell me how wonderful I am all day long. Literally. Not joking I am the most affectionate cat you will ever meet. Everyone who does, falls madly in love with me and I know you will to as soon as you meet me. #pleasehugme

About my Behaviour:

I would love a family where someone is home more often than not. I just love being around my people. I also love wand toys and bird watching. I'm also known to get quite into a good hockey game if the tv is close enough for me to watch those crazy mini-humans zip around the ice. If you want a gorgeous, loving, giant boy, I'm you're guy!

I can not live with other cats in order to keep both them and me as healthy as possible (and also because I don't really care for them). FIV+ cats can live together even have a mixed household, but I am not a fan of other cats so need to be the only cat. Honestly, I'm all the cat you will ever need!

How’s my Health?

I am fully vetted. I have been diagnosed with FIV, which means I have a weakened immune system so my humans will need to monitor me for any colds or other issues (such as skin or mouth issues or urinary tract infections, etc.) and get me checked out asap. I can never be free fed and should stay on my controlled diet. I did get very overweight which lead to me getting a UTI in the first place. Its important I shed the extra weight safely and always keep it off. More wet than dry food is ideal.
