Rescue Story:
Zoe's is helping me find a new home after my owner passed away.
**As a courtesy post Zoe's has not met "Lola", we facilitate the adoption behind the scenes to ensure a safe rehoming. We make sure the animals are vetted but do not personally know the animal. It is the adopters responsibility to do their due diligence - ask for vet records, get the microchip changed, potentially involve a force free trainer for an assessment and/or ask for a trial period.**

Hi, I'm Mojo! I am a shy, timid little guy. My owner passed away and I am looking for an environment to best suit my needs as I can be a little anxious at times. In some environments I don’t feel that comfortable like in noisy locations. I am looking for someone who lives in a house with a yard in quiet neighbourhood. A calm household environment would be best for me where I can kick back and relax with you. I can be nervous of new people and have growled and barked when unsure. But once you earn my trust I am loyal and affectionate as it will take time to feel comfortable.
About my Behaviour:
I would do best in a home with no other pets as I am uneasy around other animals and would really just prefer to have my people all to myself. Due to being unsettled in my environment, I need a patient adopter who can bring me back to the basics for potty training. Gentle reminders like taking me outside frequently as I adjust. I use a pee pad at times. I have done well being left to roam freely inside the house as I am not kennel trained. I would be happy with someone who is home a lot, who I could sit and cuddle with. I really love to be touching my family to feel safe.
