Good with Dogs? Must have a dog Friend
I love other dogs! Another playful, confident pup in the home is essential.
Good with Cats? Yes
I currently live with two cats and am great with them!
Good with Kids? Yes
I'm a gentle girl and have done well with small children.
Critter Twitter:
Most people call me Lady but I've also been called sweet, cuddly, gentle, and pretty and I can't argue with any of them! I love people and just want to be close to you (who doesn't want a 60lb lap dog??) but I also get along great with other dogs and even cats. My foster brother and I love chasing and wrestling with eachother. I'm up for anything and would love to tag along with you on your adventures, but I'm also happy to snuggle up on the couch with you after #adventureandchill
My foster mom also says I'm super smart; I've already learned how to sit, down, touch, and shake a paw.
About my Behaviour:
I am fully potty trained and learning that my crate is a safe space to relax. I do get nervous when my humans leave me alone so it would be best if my new family wasn't gone long hours. I have improved a lot in my foster home but will likely regress when I move to a new place. It would be great if you don't have to leave me too often the first little bit while a learn to trust you and establish a routine. Having another dog in the house does help keep me calm and I LOVE having a playmate!
I am a very athletic girl (I'd be great at agility) so you'll need to have a secure yard with a solid fence.
The wonderful people at Zoe's will provide a training plan and continued support to help me adjust to my new home.
How’s my Health?
I am currently on anxiety medication to help with separation anxiety and make the transition to my furever home easier. Once I've learnt to trust you and am settled in my new home I can potentially be weaned off.
I have been spayed, microchipped, dewormed and am up to date on my vaccinations. I was really skinny and had recently had puppies when I came into care and I still need to gain a few pounds but I'm otherwise healthy.
