Rescue Story:
I was surrendered as I was bitey with my owner. Unfortunately, she got me when I was only 4 weeks old & I was not properly socialized. I am getting better and would do well with a cat savvy owner.

I know I'm a gorgeous queen and although I'll rub up against you when you get home, please don't touch without asking. I love chin scratches and head pats, especially when I feel secure in my cat tree. I'm working on learning to enjoy back pats but my fluffy belly is strictly off limits. I am a medium level affection sort of cat. I want to be in the same room as you and perhaps join you on the bed, but I'd rather sit on my cat tree than on the couch with you.
I'll play by myself if you leave toys out for me. I won't always engage when you try to play with me, though; I'm still not sure what my favorite type of toy is but once I find it, I'm sure I'll be more keen to play with you. #sweetbutspecial
About my Behaviour:
I like to be up high, so a tall cat tree makes me feel happy and secure. I need a scratching post and I'll show you where I'd like it placed by demonstrating on the furniture. Once I have a post I won't touch the other furniture, I promise. My old owner said I was bitey but I think I was just misunderstood; I give plenty of warning if you're trying to pat me in the wrong places. It is VERY important that you read these cues or else I will nip you to show you.
I like to TALK! I do much meowing when I'm dissatisfied about something, excited about something (mmm treats), or if I want attention. I'm a pretty independent gal, so I won't complain while you're out, but if you don't let me join the party while you're home I'll be sure to protest loudly!
