Jeff Oldtimer | Male | Mixed Breed |
Rescue Story:
I once had a family who one day abandoned me, which forced me to become a community dog. I eventually found solace, living on some school grounds, in a portable with my “girlfriend (dog).” I lived here for some time, where a nice lady would come check up on me from time to time. One sad day, my bad luck story decided to continue and I was bullied and attacked by a larger pack of fellow community dogs. That really hurt. The nice lady saw me, all beaten and bruised and quickly called Zoe’s to me to my rescue. My first foster mama taught me about, how life is worth living and about love and trust. My current foster family continues with that, learning about all my little quirks, finding out that despite my sad story, I am a boy who just wants to give love and receive love back.

Critter Twitter:
They call me Jeff Oldtimer because I am very docile and slow moving, but I'm actually only 4 years young! I really, really like my groceries! I am house trained but not a fan of crates. I love to follow my humans around and be wherever they are. I also love snuggles, belly rubs and grooming sessions! I cannot get enough hugs! I would like nothing more than a second chance at a loving home. I promise you won't regret adopting me! #secondchances#goodboy
About my Behaviour:
I am somewhat nervous and cautious but am full of love and admiration once trust is established.
I am a curious boy, but not a fan of getting into vehicles. I currently need someone who will be able to help lift me inside. Once inside a vehicle though, I eventually become relaxed. I am being challenged everyday with adventurous walks and am currently being introduced to lake life. I needs an adopter who will show me patience, kindness and most importantly, love.
I can be food, water bowl and large chewing treat protective. I can eat and drink in a similar area to other dogs, but I don't like it when other dogs approach me while I am eating, drinking water or chewing a bone. I will give a little warning with a growl, but I can be quickly corrected by a simple “Jeff no.” All food bowls and treats are cleaned up as soon as mealtime is over. On the upside though, I will stand next to other dogs and will wait my turn when treat time is here!
How’s my Health?
I am neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped.
