Gucci Mane   |   Male   |   Domestic cutie (DSH)   |

Rescue Story:

I was taken in by Zoe's as I needed a surgery to fix a urinary blockage that was life threatening and my family didn't want to pay for it. Even when Zoe's offered to help pay for it my owners refused and said to either take me or euthanize me. Thankfully Zoe's took me and now that i'm recovered I am ready for my forever home.

Critter Twitter:

I am Gucci Mane a gorgeous orange tabby. It’s okay if you forget to look at me, I’ll make the softest meow to remind you I am here. I am a confident mellow cat, but I am still a teenager and I need to get my play in.

I love to greet my foster mama when she comes home, I give the best head snuggles. Sometimes I sit on her lap when she works, but other times I supervise form further away. I am still trying to negotiate my spot on her keyboard. I am less of a lap cat and more of a “sometimes I’ll sit beside” you cat. #sweetie

About my Behaviour:

I like when there are several people in the house to investigate. I can stay alone for 8-10 hours, but having people around is nicer. No dogs (I don’t really like them and they don’t like to play with me) and only older respectful children. I am pretty patient with getting picked up and carried. I like to play nibble on feet when I am bored, so I will need enough play to keep the feet of the house safe. I have not experienced a cat yet, but I am confident, so I think proper introduction would help us get along. It might be nice to have a friend. I would probably pester an older cat, I want to play! A calm, low stress household would be best for me.

How’s my Health?

I am fully vetted. I am eating Royal Canin Urinary SO and it is safest if I stay on a veterinary grade urinary cat food. You can also feed wet food that's low in phosphorus, but any dry must be the vet urinary food. Keeping me at a healthy weight is important and feeding no less than 3 meals a day, preferably 4. Timed feeders are great. I also walk with a bit of a hunch, the vet says it might be a pinched nerve. Given my required special needs diet my adoption fee is only $25.
