Garfield Sturgeon *update* | Male | Domestic Ginger Shorthair (DSH) |
Rescue Story:
Betty and I were abandoned at a farm, no ID, and not fixed. No one came to claim us. Being an unfixed tomcat I had to fight to stay on the property where I was being fed. The owner befriended us and asked Zoe's to take us in as we weren't feral. We are both fixed now and ready for forever homes.

Critter Twitter:
I am one very sweet ginger cat. I am very clingy and I don't like to share laps with any other pet in the house. I enjoy playing and have a zest for life. I can't wait to meet you. #sosweet
About my Behaviour:
I would be ok a cat-friendly small dog or other very cat friendly cats with slow proper introductions. I'm best friends with another kitty who is at my foster home, a former stray kitty that is being fostered by her but not for Zoe's. I could be adopted with her if you wanted two cats.
I would be ok as an only pet as long as you are home most often. I do have separation anxiety if I am alone for hours.
I am shy when strangers come over, I'd prefer a home where you don't have many guests come over, please.
I will take weeks to settle into a new home but I am well worth the wait. A quiet sanctuary room and food bribes will really help.
How’s my Health?
I am fully vetted. I do have a sensitive stomach so hypoallergenic food or novel proteins with fewer fillers/grains would be best for me. I shouldn't be free-fed as I will get fat. I am 17lbs already and only a bit overweight. Scheduled meals and wet food especially will help me lose some weight and stay at a healthy weight to prevent health issues.
