Rescue Story:
I came into Zoe’s to recover from a large cut on my back, and now I’m all healed up and ready to find my forever family!

I love kids! But I’m pretty enthusiastic with my affection so no small kids please.

I love playing and getting outside for lots of walks! My foster mom says I’m a walking ball of enthusiasm! I’m a young, strong, and energetic guy who loves everything. We’re going for a walk? I love it! I’m having a playdate with a dog friend? I love it! You’re sitting on the couch looking for a snuggle buddy? I LOVE IT! There is one thing I don't love or maybe it's I love them too much, are Cats. My foster family tried really hard for me to co-exist with the cat, but it was a no go. So, no to cats in my new home. I need a home where I can continue to develop good behaviours and do all sorts of fun things. I’d probably be really good at activities such as scent work, agility, or weight pulling.
About my Behaviour:
I am a smart cookie who needs a family who will dedicate ongoing time to my mental and physical exercise and training. So we grow and live well together, we will have to enroll me in mandatory manners classes; www.albertaforcefreealliance.com . I have shown some resource guarding behaviours with the dogs in my foster home. My family will need to be ready to work on this with me if I am to have a new brother or sister. I am house trained and crate trained. I sleep in my crate at night and I enjoy having some chill time in there during the day too.
