Ferra Sweel   |   Female   |   The Floofer (DLH)   |

Rescue Story:

I was found near a vet clinic, unfortunately I had no ID and no one came to claim me. Zoe's agreed to take me in to assess if I was truly feral or not. A lady agreed to foster me, and potentially adopt me if I wasn't feral and got along with her cat. Unfortunately that cat hates me as I still prime lap space, so I will need to find a new lap to claim.

Date of Birth: May 2023 (est)

Energy Level: Medium

Size (adult): Medium

Adoption Fee: Zoe's special! Donate whatever you wish!

Good with Dogs? Unknown
Never met one, so not sure. Given how skittish I am, probably not.
Good with Cats? Very specific cat(s) only
Only very cat friendly cats who aren't jealous of my hogging all your lap time. I do have too much energy for a senior kitty though.
Good with Kids? No
I would be too scared of them, sorry.

Critter Twitter:

I am one stunning girl who is a massive lap cat. I also really enjoy playing. I love bird watching and I have a massive zest for life, cuddles and food. #lovebug

About my Behaviour:

I am very shy, and I will take some time to settle into my new home. Unfortunately, I will most likely hide during the meet and greet, but, my foster can tell you all about how awesome I am once I have settled in.

I am good with very cat friendly cats who are ok with a playful buddy and one who doesn't mind if I hog your lap. Or maybe there's more laps in the house than cats, that works for me too, as long as everyone understands my shyness.

How’s my Health?

I am fully vetted. I must be fed scheduled meals to help us form a strong bond. One of the meals should be wet food as it's important to a cat's health. It would be a good idea to have me on prozac or gabapentin for the first month just to help me settle in more quickly. I do tend to eat too quickly (due to my stray days) and I will eat the resident cats' food to, so no free feeding at all. There's a point that no amount of fur can hide the extra fluff.

This animal is in need of a new foster home. Are you interested in fostering?
