Critter Twitter:
Hey there! My name is Felix! I absolutely LOVE to be petted/hugged/touched! I do have some odd quirks and a few anxieties. When I am outside I am very anxious to comeback inside, but even though I very clearly want to come in, my foster family has to walk away or go up the stairs in order to get me to come back in the house. I guess I just want to know I'm really ok to come back in with you. I don't know many commands yet, but I am learning some slowly. I love, love, love to play fetch with a ball and chase my foster brother kids in the backyard. I am house trained and partially crate trained in that I go in my crate, but closing the door on me makes me nervous. I am learning to live with my new foster family, and I love them, but I really, really want a furever home to call my own. Won't you take a chance on an older gentleman who just wants to be loved and taken care of? #seniorsrule#petmepetme
About my Behaviour:
I only have one eye, so that could be part of my anxiety problem. I don't always see who/ what is coming towards me right away.
I will wear a harness but I refuse to move when you try to take me out with a leash. I don't like to be moved and takes a enormous amount of coaxing and encouraging for me to do something, even if you offer me food! I guess I'm a little stubborn. I will try to nip at my humans if you try to move me against my will. I'm a senior and a little grumpy and am trying to learn new things but it's taking me a little while longer than it would a pup. A patient owner would be best for me.
How’s my Health?
I am neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped. I'm a little sore in the mornings so I may have a little arthritis setting in. I'm missing a few teeth, but that doesn't seem to bother me.
