Rescue Story:

I spent the first 8 months of my life outside. When I came into care in August, I was so skinny and small, they thought I may have been born in the spring. But now that I am getting regular food, I am fattening up nicely. I was picked up with some rescue dogs, because I was such a personable kitten despite being born feral. And in my foster home I am getting lots of socialization with the four resident cats, and the next door neighbour kids who have their own cats, but still like to come and play with me. My rescuers were right, I was a kitten just waiting to be rescued.

About my Behaviour:

When I came home to my foster family, I was just so happy to be fed and warm and loved. I talk a lot to the other cats and to my people. I am pretty brave and settled into my new life easily and I was more ready to make friends than the resident cats were. I have a scratchy little meow but the loudest purr and I am ready to purr at the drop of a hat, or a treat. Because I was an outdoor cat, my family needs to be prepared for my bad food manners. I am going to beg, and probably try and stick my face your food, or steal it when you are not looking. My foster family is working on my manners, but if you are thinking I might be a good fit, you will likely need to continue working on this. And when I saw the vet, he recommended that I don’t get free fed, because I will probably always be food oriented and would eat myself into obesity if given the chance. So I need a family who will help me with that. But I promise that my fuzzy little personality will make up for my bad manners. I am ready play, wrestle, and chase toys. And then I will collapse in fatigue and curl up at your feet. And purr. Loudly.

How’s my Health?

I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for adoption!
