Good with Dogs? Maybe
I'm uncertain around new dogs, would need to be a calm dog with slow introductions
Good with Cats? Unknown
I haven't been around any cats yet
Good with Kids? Yes
Older kids are best as I can be startled by sudden movements

Critter Twitter:

I am a sweet girl and trusting with my foster family. I even offered up my belly for rubs on the first day and can build very stong bonds. I love squeaky toys and going for walks. My foster family says I'm getting better on the leash, working hard not to pull (but it's easy to forget when I spot a rabbit or catch an exciting scent). I'm very trainable and know tricks such as sit pretty, down, and wait. I sleep through the night either curled up on the dog bed, couch or my foster's bed. I'm very quiet and only bark occasionally when encountering another dog on a walk.

About my Behaviour:

After living on the streets in Mexico, I'm still learning how to trust other dogs and people and am very alert when outside. My foster family is helping build my confidence when outside. I can also be protective of my people. If I get uncomfortable with others in my space, I can nip but am working through this with training and trust-building. I'm an agile girl and the average fence is no match for me so will need to be supervised in the yard while I learn it's a safe place. I thrive on having company during the day but can go up to 6 hours on my own without an issue.
To ensure we get off on the right foot we will need to take some training classes together. Check out www.albertaforcefreealliance.com for some great force free trainers!

How’s my Health?

I was found with an injured back right foot and lost one nail but it is healing up well. I have been spayed, microchipped, dewormed and am up to date on vaccinations. Zoe's cannot guarantee breed(s).
