Diego Rivahlo | Male | Orphan House Panther (DSH) |
Rescue Story:
I was one of the many kittens born in a feral cat colony, my sibling and I were very young and our mom went missing so Zoe's took us in when we were itty bitty to give us the best chance of survival. Now we are ready for adoption!
Date of Birth: July 18, 2024 (est)
Energy Level: Very High
Size (adult): Medium
Adoption Fee: $225 for me or $350 if you adopt me with a sibling.
Good with Dogs? Unknown
Never met one, so not sure.
Good with Cats? Must have a cat friend
Especially cat friendly cats and proper introductions. I do need a very playful young cat friend or to be adopted with Frida preferably.
Good with Kids? Yes
Especially if they are gentle with me.
Critter Twitter:
I am a house panther, like a panther I carefully prowl, ever so quiet so you don't hear me sneak up on you. I will give you a good jumpstart to your heart, that's for sure. What can I say, I’m a man of the people and I love to make you laugh! I’m nothing like my namesake, Diego Rivera, aside from the fact that I’m a big boy who loves to eat. I mean, LOVES it. If you try to pick me up while I’m eating, I’ll give you a playful little growl before I immediately start to purr - I love being held and pet so much that I can’t help it! Don’t get me wrong though, I play hard but I love just as hard. I love all people! I purr as soon as anyone looks at me. I love when my foster mom picks me up, cradles me like a baby, and scratches my armpits - I actually extend my arms up over my head so they can really get in there. #lovemelots
About my Behaviour:
I would love to be adopted with my sister Frida if possible. I have very high energy and she really helps burn off my energy as I have a lot of it. Otherwise you must have a young very playful cat to play with me alot. I am the energizer kitten, I go, and go, and go some more!
How’s my Health?
I am neutered and up to date with vaccines, as well as micro-chipped and dewormed. I must be fed at least one meal of wet food a day for hydration and kidney/bladder health. I love my wet food and currently being fed 3-4 times a day with wet food. I do nibble on dry food throughout the day, but I will need to be switched to meals only once I am older as I will get fat. Overweight cats are prone to UTIs and diabetes so keeping my weight at a healthy range is best.
