I can be selective with other dogs so would need slow introductions.

Hi I'm Declan. I'm a small and sweet boy who is looking for a calm home and a patient, gentle owner. You see, I was abandoned by my original owner and was taken in my another family. They have a young child which is very stressful for me so it is not the best situation. Once I am comfortable with you I am an affectionate boy who just wants to be loved. I love going on long walks and playing with my toys. I have lived with another dog and a cat. I can be selective with dogs though so calm, neutral dogs and slow introdutions would be needeed.
About my Behaviour:
I am a nervous boy when meeting new people (especially men) and in new situations so my adopter will need to be committed to continuing my force-free training and building trust. I am house trained but do need to be taken outside regularly. My current home allows me to free roam and I am not destructive.
