Cocoa Gibbs (Courtesy Post) | Female | Tortie Queen (DSH) |
Rescue Story:
A kind family rescued my mom and 3 siblings when we were only a few hours old. They, as well as their children and grandchildren, have taken such good care of us and given us all so much love. Now that we're older, we are ready to find our own furever homes!
*As a courtesy post, Zoe's has not met Cocoa Gibbs. We facilitate the adoption behind the scenes to ensure a safe rehoming. We make sure the animal is up to date on vet care, spayed/neutered - Zoe's does not personally know the animal. It is the adopters' responsibility to do their due diligence - ask for vet records, a trial period, and microchip information to have it changed*

Good with Dogs? Unknown
I haven't been around any dogs yet, however I would likely be fine with cat savvy dogs who won't chase me, after proper introductions of course
Good with Cats? Yes
Especially cat friendly cats with proper introductions
Good with Kids? Yes
I'd do best with older kids who won't grab or startle me, and who are gentle and will play with me.
Critter Twitter:
Hi, I'm Cocoa! I’m a petite, gentle queen with a feisty side when I play with my brothers. When I’m not running, leaping or wrestling with my brothers or chasing toys all over the room. I enjoy watching the others play while sitting in the sunshine and watching the world go by. I’m an observer who watches before I jump into a new activity, but once I see that it’s safe, I’m all in! I’m still independent and undemanding, but I’ve recently discovered the joys of being a lap cat. Instead of wiggling out of arms to go play, I welcome them—or even run into them—and I purr and purr and purr!
About my Behaviour:
I am close with my brother, Blackie, so I'd love to be adopted with him, or one of my other brothers. Due to my independent nature, I could be fine as an only cat, as long as you're committed to playing with me multiple times a day.
How’s my Health?
I am fully vaccinated, neutered, dewormed, and microchipped.
I currently eat 3 meals of wet food a day. Wet food is incredibly important for a cat's health - it helps add much needed moisture for my kidneys and bladder health. Scheduled meals are best to help us form a strong bond and regulate my food intake. I have a sensitive tummy and do best with wet food only right now, however I'm trying to add little bits of dry food to see if I can adjust.
