Rescue Story:

**As a courtesy post Zoe's has not met "Ghost and Cloud", we facilitate the adoption behind the scenes to ensure a safe rehoming. We make sure the animals are vetted but do not personally know the animal. It is the adopters responsibility to do their due diligence -ask for vet records, get the microchip changed, potentially involve a force free trainer for an assessment and/or ask for a trial period.**

Date of Birth: September 2015

Energy Level: High - typical husky energy!

Size (adult): Medium (approx 40lbs)

Adoption Fee: $400 for the pair of us!

Good with Dogs? Yes
We had a dog roommate before and we all got along fine.
Good with Cats? Maybe
We haven't really been around cats
Good with Kids? Yes
We love humans big or small, but get a bit rowdy, so bigger kids would be best.

Critter Twitter:

Hello! We are sisters who have always lived together - we are bonded and are looking for a family who is willing to take us as a package deal. We know our manners in the house, have some basic training (sits, downs), and we are crate trained (we share a crate). People always comment on how pretty we are, but we’re not just all good looks - we’re smart and food motivated, and would love to learn new tricks. Our absolute favourite thing is running - we also like sniffing and exploring on walks, too, but if we had our pick, we’d race around all day. We haven’t tried any sports yet, but think we might really like ski-joring or kicksledding in the winter. A Zoe’s volunteer has been walking us sometimes and she says that we are very friendly and love getting pets and snuggles from humans - the neighbours and their dogs all know us and say hi when we walk by. Who wouldn’t want a pair of social butterflies like us around?

About my Behaviour:

We would love a human or two who can provide us with some exercise and enrichment a couple times each day - we may be middle-aged, but we still have a lot of pep in our step! If you have a yard, it would ideally have 6’ wood or vinyl fence as we’re part ninja and can escape chain link fences - a chain link fence would be fine as long as we are on long lines.

Maybe we could take a class together, they sound fun - maybe a course to teach us a new activity that we can all do together. You can check out www.albertaforcefreealliance.com for some great force free trainers!

How’s my Health?

As a puppy, Ghost had surgery for a folded intestine, but hasn’t had any issues since then. We are both spayed and up to date on all our vaccines.
