Critter Twitter:
A lot of people have been coming to walk me lately. My foster mom says I need to see other people so I'll know my forever family when I meet them. When the photographer took me for a walk, at first I laid down in protest (I'm a pacifist!) But she insisted, so I gave her a chance. After half an hour, I was feeling more comfortable. We sat down in the evening sun together, and I decided to take some treats from her (but only the good ones!) And don't tell my foster mom, but I even leaned in for some cuddles. And I liked them.
About my Behaviour:
I used to be feral, so it has taken some time to learn to be a house dog. I am house broken and crate trained, but still have some separation anxiety. My foster mom is teaching me to chew on bones and antlers whenever I feel anxious, and I agree that it does make me feel better. I am cautious around new people, but when I do come around, I love them with my whole heart. I still have that teen energy; I would be a great match for a walker or casual runner. My adopter will have to work with me on transitioning to a new home, and take me to obedience classes (which I will ace, because I'm so smart!) I am gentle when accepting treats, and love my squeaky toys.
How’s my Health?
I'm spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.
