I am a fantastic gentle giant! I'm very lazy and happy just chilling by your side inside or on the deck. I'm always looking for a way to escape though so an eye had to be on me at all times. I LOVE my food and will steal food off the counter whenever your back is turned but I'm working on that! I'm a great companion and very loving. #sweetsoul#puppylove
About my Behaviour:
I do suffer from anxiety, and separation issues. So a family who is home alot would be best for me. I will chew things if left so I am learning to be in a crate. Kirsten the nice trainer is helping my foster family with dealing with getting out the door without me trying to escape. I do not like the car and I refuse to go in it right now, but I'm working on that. I'm used to roaming so I don't like to be confined but I am learning quickly that it is ok and safe to be in one spot. I did not know any commands but already (food related) am learning very fast. I am such a good and very smart boy who just wants to please. I do not like to be left alone much but as long as I can see you and be reassured you aren't far away, I am happy. I'm working on my crate training. I get on great with my boxer friend and am really good around my foster parent's 2 year old grandson. I like to play with my toys but I need to learn that some things are not mine to play with. I am a typical pup who likes to be mischievous sometimes but I make up for it with my cuddles and quiet nap times. My ideal home would require space with a decent sized enclosed yard. I would be best with large dogs as I can be too much for most small dogs, I just get too excited and could accidentally hurt them.
