Calliope Matrix | Female | Domestic WallFlower |
Rescue Story:
My owner was facing eviction with her 7 cats, Zoe's agreed to help take in a few of us so our owner could be able to keep at least a few of her fur babies. It was hard on her but most of us Matrix cats already found forever homes and now it's my turn.

Critter Twitter:
I am one stunning girl who is a bit of a wallflower. I started my life as a street cat and though I know being inside and loved by someone is a safer and better option it does take some time to gain my trust. Play time really is a lot of fun and it does draw me out. I am the purrfect companion for someone who doesn't want a clingy cat but a cat who is just happy to chill in the same room as you. #shybutsweet #babyblueeyes
About my Behaviour:
I require a very calm, quiet home that is understanding that it will take me quite some time to settle in.
I would be fine with another very cat friendly cat with slow proper introductions or I would be fine as an only cat. I am friends with the male in my foster home but the female cat keeps going after me and it's probably why I am still more shy because I have to stay safe in the cat tree instead of being out and about gaining in confidence. Having a more safe home may help me come out of my shell more quickly.
How’s my Health?
I am fully vetted. I should be fed scheduled meals only to help form a strong bond, some wet food is a must of course. Three meals a day is all I need (morning, after work and before bed). I am on gabapentin to help with my anxiety and it should continue for at least a month then you can wean me off and see if my anxiety is all gone. It is not expensive at all (Zoe's vet it's less than 60 cents per day and you can continue to get it filled through them should I need to continue it life long).
