Calcifa Starr | Female | Domestic cutie (DSH) |
Rescue Story:
I came to Zoe's as I was in danger of being killed by stray dogs. I had part of my tail missing but it healed well. Now I am ready for my forever home.
Date of Birth: October 2020
Energy Level: High
Size (adult): Medium
Adoption Fee:
Good with Dogs? Very specific dog(s) only
Only calm cat friendly dogs who won't chase me, with proper introductions of course.
Good with Cats? Very specific cat(s) only
I MUST have a high energy cat friendly cat buddy in the home. I need a kitty playmate to play with me lots. I will pester a senior or lazy cat nonstop.
Good with Kids? Maybe
If they are understanding loud sounds scare me and are older.
Critter Twitter:
I am one sweet girl who loves to be in on the action. I love food, treats and being held. Playing with resident cats is so much fun. I am very curious of everything and will try to explore cupboards, pantry and closets. I am very smart and know when I am being talked to. In time, I might become a lap cat, but for now I am happy just getting pets on the back of my head when I ask for it. Which is getting more and more frequent. I do love to follow you around and see what you are doing. I am a great gal and can't wait to find my forever home. #sweetie
About my Behaviour:
I must be adopted to a home with another high energy youngish cat friend. I LOVE to play with other cats and they will need to be able to keep up with me for years to come.
Any dogs must be calm and cat friendly. I do not want to be chased please. I spent most of my life running from them and it was so scary!
Loud sounds really scare me so a calm quiet home is best for me.
How’s my Health?
I am fully vetted. I have a short tail due to injury but it's healed. I did become bradycardic under anesthesia so something just ensure your vet knows about if I ever need to go under anesthesia. I will just need extra monitoring and less drugs but should have zero issues. Also, I can NOT be free fed as I will eat my year's worth in one sitting. I love both wet and dry so be sure to feed me both (more wet is best).
