I was surrendered to Zoe's to find my furever home (that ideally doesn't have any live stock for me to chase!)

I am a friendly energetic and handsome boy looking for my soulmate who will throw me balls and feed me bones in exchange for unconditional love and lots of cuddles. I lived on a farm so far so I love to explore, run, and play! My ideal match is an active family that will keep me consistently well excercised and mentally stimulated. Don't get me wrong though, after all the fun activities I like to Netflix, chill and cuddle with my hooman. I like to be in the same room as my hooman (for supervision purposes of course) so I hope you like having a tail! I wouldn't mind a well matched four legged friend to be buds with (must bark, not meow). A big backyard or fenced acreage is a bonus! I am both crate and house trained. About my Behaviour:
I get along well with other dogs if introduced properly. I have always lived with other dogs in my previous home on the farm and in my current foster home, however am a bit dog selective so we'll need to take it slow with new friends. I get a bit vocal when I play with doggo friends, so it's important you take the time to learn when I am playing vs over my threshold.
I am still working on my leash reactivity, as meeting dogs on leash is very frustrating for me. I'm getting pretty good at it, but I'll need you to continue to help me work on my loose leash skills. I am well behaved around people, and I know many commands such as sit, down, stay, out (of the kitchen!) and go to bed, but I want to learn more tricks and improve my recall (especially with distractions).
I cannot live with cats or live stock as I have proven for those relationships to not be mutually enjoyable.
I'll cry a bit when you leave me but I will eventually settle and snooze.
