Rescue Story:
I came all the way from Best Friends Animal Society in Utah. Best Friends rescued me from a high kill shelter, and kept me for two years, but no one wanted to adopt me. When one of Zoe's co-founders visited and saw me, she thought she could find me a home in Edmonton.

I get along with dogs I meet, but I am possessive of my people, so would do best as an only dog.

I hate cats.

Older kids only please. I would probably be jealous of little ones.

When the photographer Amanda came to visit, I walked right up to her, tail wagging, and presented my chin for scratching. She obliged, but then -- presumptuous human! -- she looked me in the eyes and talked to me! Of course, I grumbled at her. I then pretended to sleep in my basket until she brought out the good salmon treats. Try to tempt me with 'vanilla snowflake wafers', will you? Please! This prince needs to be treated as such.
About my Behaviour:
Don't you hate it when strangers walk up to you and try to grab or pet you? I do. I probably need a little vest that tells people I need space, and I certainly need a human who will teach them the right way to greet dogs. I do get quite attached to my people, and can be possessive of them. Even though I'm a little guy, I do like going for walks. I'm housebroken and quiet in the house, although I do sometimes bark at strange noises. I don't appear to know basic commands, but I'm not crazy in the house either.
