Rescue Story:
I was attacked by other dogs and almost died. But now I'm healing very well and looking for my forever home.

Good with Dogs? No
I'm good with dogs outside the home, but I would do best as an only dog as I like to have all the love and toys to myself.
Good with Cats? Yes
With proper introductions and positive reinforcement. I am pretty indifferent to cats, so they can play around me no problem.
Good with Kids? Yes
I'm even good with young kids, with proper introductions and positive reinforcement. I like being petted but sometimes I need my own space, so kids would have to learn to stop petting when I leave to go to my bed.

Hello! I'm Brody and I loooove to cuddle and play. I love my humans, so I go to them when they call, and I'm learning to sit. I don't like being alone so I make sure to keep my foster mom company wherever she is in the house, but I'm OK at home when she has to go to work. I will make a loving companion in my forever home and will appreciate and reciprocate all the love my humans give me.
About my Behaviour:
I'm perfectly house trained, so I don't need to be crated, and my foster mom says I have had no accidents. Yay me! My foster mom says that I don't bark very much, but do whine a bit if I'm closed in a room all by myself. I love my humans' company! I love to go for walks so I need a home that loves them as much as I do. I love being petted but I have my limits and when I'm done cuddling I will just go lie on my bed. I need a family that won't push me beyond my comfort level for touching.
How’s my Health?
I was attacked by other dogs and almost died, but I'm healing nicely and getting back to my old self. I had 7 large open wounds when I was rescued, but treatment with antibiotics, hydrotherapy, and topical honey have made me feel much better. I am still receiving hydrotherapy and love to get into the shower for my "spa" treatments. My wounds are all healing nicely and there does not appear to be any permanent damage.
I am neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed.
