I was surrendered by a breeder to Zoe's to find my furever home!

Yes. I need a confident dog friend in my new home to teach me the ropes. I am good with other dogs, but I am unsure of new ones at first.

I'm young, full of energy and I have lots of love to give! I love to race around the backyard and play with my foster sister. I also like to play with a ball, especially the squeaky ball. But most of all I like to work for my food. I know sit and down and I'm working on come and stay. My foster mom thinks I'm pretty smart. And handsome. And I have stunning eyes. I can't argue with that. I am one smart cookie! #letsplay #smartiepants
About my Behaviour:
I haven't been exposed to much in my 9 months, so many things are new to me. And new things are kinda scary. Like my foster dad. He has a big beard and a deep voice and I hide in my crate when he's around. He likes to give me treats and I'm starting to feel more comfortable around him, but my foster momma or foster sibling need to be close by so that I feel safe. You can never be too careful when it comes to male humans.
My foster mama was scary at first too, but I LOVE her now. I jump and dance when she comes home and I like to follow her all around the house. She gives me food, plays ball with me, gives me lots of treats and takes me for walks. I guess I'm a nervous in many new situations. Mama keeps saying that exposure is good for me so I guess I'll be introduced to lots of new things while I'm with Zoe's. And she says I need to learn to trust my foster dad. And that men are not terrible beings. We'll see.
I'd do best with a new family that is very patient and willing to meet me a few times before taking me home so that I can feel safe. I also need another dog friend to play with me and help me build my confidence.
