Rescue Story:

I was found near a first nation’s community scavenging for food around a cabin - - one of the only cabins open during the winter. Unfortunately, there was some construction underway at a neighbours and I wandered into a storage trailer without being noticed. I was locked in there for 5 days without food or water. During the cold snap, I made my way into the cabin and everyone’s hearts that lived there. Those people wanted a better life for me so they contacted Zoe's to come and take me in to find my furever home.

Date of Birth: 2015

Energy Level: Medium - like a toddler. I am actually quite calm with normal puppy tendencies once in a while. I sit nicely with my head on your lap for pets as I stare at you with my big blue eyes.

Size (adult): 46 lbs.

I love other dogs and I love to give them kisses! I will submit to an alpha dog.

There is a kitty at my foster home, but he lives upstairs so I don't see him much. I should get along with cats with the proper introductions.
Good with Kids? Yes
I live with two toddlers and I am very good with them. I trust everybody.

I know my baby blues just got ya, didn't they?! I am really enjoying living with my foster family. They say I am a really sweet and gentle girl. I loves cuddles and kisses in between my bursts of puppy energy! I do very well in my crate and I am 95% house trained already! Because of my past, I am food driven, so right now while I learn manners, my foster Mom keeps me away from kids and other doggies while I have my meals. I am getting used to being walked on a leash and I'm doing quite well with it. I like a good chew on a stick now and then! How’s my Health?

I am recovering from mange so I need a coat and booties for my walks. I have been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
