Rescue Story:
Zoe's is helping my foster family find my forever home
**As a courtesy post Zoe's has not met "Benji", we facilitate the adoption behind the scenes to ensure a safe rehoming. We make sure the animals are vetted but do not personally know the animal. It is the adopters responsibility to do their due diligence - ask for vet records, get the microchip changed, potentially involve a force free trainer for an assessment and/or ask for a trial period.**

Energy Level: Medium - I love to run and play outside but I am calm and relaxed in the house.
Size (adult): Large (approx 75lbs)

Good with Dogs? Maybe
I tend to do well with older and calmer dogs but can get overwhelmed by puppies.
Good with Cats? Unknown
I haven't met any feline friends.
Good with Kids? Yes
Children 10+ would be best as I can get overwhelmed by younger children in my space.

Hi, I'm Benji! I am the sweetest boy with so much love to give. I am 75lbs and quite tall (do you see how long my legs are?!), but in my mind I am a 10lb yorkie. I love to snuggle up with you (if you'll let me) and give you all the kisses! I love to go for walks, and run and play outside in the backyard, but when I am in the house I am calm, relaxed, and happy to be in the same room with you sleeping the day away on a cozy dog bed. I currently live with another dog in my home, but I can be selective about which dogs I want to spend my time with - I prefer calmer dogs that won't get into my space. If you are looking for the sweetest boy to join your family, put in an application for me!
About my Behaviour:
I am fully house trained. I have used a crate in the past, but currently I am left loose in the house during the day. I know some basic commands like sit, lay down, and shake a paw. I am food motivated and eager to please so I would be able to learn new commands relatively easily.

I am neutered, up to date on my vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped.
