About my Behaviour:
I love people - even strangers - and best of all, I have been trained not to jump up on people that I meet. I do love a good cuddle though! And I give the BEST kisses.
As I lose weight, I am becoming more and more active. One of my favourite activities is long walks - I've been walking three times a day and I love it! My tail wags a mile a minute as soon as I see my leash. I do pull quite a bit on the leash, my foster is trying me on a harness but probably would be best to have someone strong take my leash. I am also great off leash though and I check back regularly with my foster mom while we are out.
In my previous home I was free-fed and picked at my food throughout the day which is probably why I am on the chunky side, so free feeding wouldn't be a good idea for me. When the other dogs in my home were fed I would hover over my bowl, but I didn’t act aggressively, and could be easily moved out of the way so the other dogs could eat.
I am not crate trained, but I am quiet (except when I'm snoring) and well-behaved in the house.
How’s my Health?
I recently lost a lot of weight, but there is still more to go as I am still overweight. I did have some soreness with my right hind leg, but with the recent weight loss, that pain has eased up. I will have to be on hypoallergenic food.
I have been spayed and will be fully vaccinated and micro-chipped before adoption.
