Hi my name is Atlas! I am a handsome boy who would make a wonderful addition to the right family! I can be anxious with new people and need slow introductions. Once I am comfortable with you and decide that you are my friend I am an absolute cuddle monster!! Getting pets, cuddles and being in contact with my humans is my favourite! My foster family has taken me on lots of adventures, including camping, and it is super fun. If you have room in your family and your hearts for a sweet, goofy and loyal new friend, please fill out an application for me. I can't wait to meet you!
About my Behaviour:
I am house trained, and can hold it all day if needed. I am not crate trained because I am a good boy when left alone, and my foster family has found that I can be trusted to roam around the house without getting into any trouble. I am very good on a leash and love walks! I only pull when I see rabbits, but I still sometimes growl or bark when I see another dog. My foster family has been working with me on this and I am getting better and with slow introductions to new dogs I can make friends. I am unsure of new humans and require slow introductions. I would do best in a home that doesn't have frequent visitors. No apartments or condos for me please.
With your love and guidance, I will be an amazing addition to your family! To help us start off on the right paw, two private sessions with a certified trainer will be included with my adoption!
How’s my Health?
I am neutered, microchipped, de-wormed and up to date on my vaccinations. I take anxiety medicine twice a day in peanut butter. This should continue until I am settled in with my new forever family.
