Rescue Story:
Rescue Story: My family is no longer able to keep me due to changing family circumstances. They reached out to Zoe's for help in finding the best family for me!
*As a courtesy post Zoe's has not met "Alpha". We facilitate the adoption behind the scenes to ensure a safe rehoming. We ensure the animal is up to date on vet care, spayed/neutered, and is assessed by one of our partner trainers - Zoe's does not personally know the animal. It is the adopters' responsibility to do their due diligence - ask for vet records, behavioral assessment, microchip information, and/or a trial period .*

I haven't lived with another dog before, but I enjoy being with other dogs and playing. With the right dog, I might do fine sharing a home.

Older kids (if any) for me, please! I am still very playful and can be too much for small humans, however with proper supervision it could be ok. I am a good boy, but just a little bouncy.

HI! I'm Alpha! Did you look at my photos yet? I'm a pretty handsome boy, if I do say so myself. In true husky fashion, I love being outdoors! Winter is my absolute favourite and I just love adventuring in the Snow. Summers can be hot for me, but I love! love! love a good swim! (make sure you bring a towel, or 3)! If it's sunny, you'll usually find me napping in a sunbeam. I think it's awesome when my people chase me around the yard when I get wild zoomies - it's so fun! When I want affection, I'll shove my fluffy butt into you for some butt scritches. I'm a pretty independent boy, but being beside my favourite people is what I like best. Large crowds can be intimidating for me, but I am very happy to go have a lay down on my own with a nice treat during peak busy social interactions. I'm a well rounded boy that is a wonderful mix of independence, adventure, fun, and chill. Could you be my perfect match?
About my Behaviour:
I know how to sit nicely and to shake a paw. I do quite well on a leash and really enjoy exploring. I am house trained and I'm very calm inside. I'm used to being by myself during the day, and I do well free-roaming inside. I would do best in a home with a yard as I really love to be outside. I'm not overly vocal and I'm happy to relax next to you when it's time to put up our paws. I eat twice a day but can sometimes be picky with my kibble. I can be a bit shy with new people, but with some treats and a few minutes of your time, I'm very happy to have you around! I have a thick fluffy coat, so I require daily brushing. I also have my teeth brushed every day to keep my pearly whites shining bright. I will need a family that is dedicated to building a strong bond with me, experience with huskies and a willingness to learn about my breed would be ideal.
