Rescue Story:

I came to Zoe's because I had an injury to my leg from possibly being hit by a car. The kind people with Zoe's help fix me up and now I am ready for adoption.

Date of Birth: May 2023 (approx)

Energy Level: High - I am full of fun puppy energy!

Size (adult): Medium (approx 40 lbs)

Adoption Fee: $450

Good with Dogs? Yes
I've been great with all the dogs I've met.
Good with Cats? No
They are too tempting to chase.
Good with Kids? Yes
With proper introductions, and respectful playing, I should do fine with older kids. I am unaware of my size and still a bit clumsy

Critter Twitter:

Hi! My name is Nonni. I am told I've got personality, a little goofy, a little sassy and full adorkable.😊I enjoy playing with my toys. I can be a bit rough on them so need sturdy, tuff toys that can stand up this power chewer. I love getting attention and being near my person. I am also an amazing cuddler. I can already see it, cuddled up on the couch with my new family after a good walk, while they are watching a show or reading a good book. I am a fantastic eater. I eat all sorts of good stuff like broccoli, carrots, apples & sweet potatoes. I also love good chew, like bully sticks etc. I need tons of enrichment, especially now as I am recovering from my injury. Thinks like snuffle mats, stuffed Kongs, puzzle toys etc. If you think I might fit perfectly into your family, please put in an application for me. I can hardly wait to meet you.

About my Behaviour:

I am house trained; I will go to the door to let you know I need to go out. I am also crate trained. I will settle after a few minutes and go to sleep in my crate. I am learning not to be mouthy with hands and that is what toys are for. I love interacting with my people and will try to get your attention by being vocal.

How’s my Health?

I am spayed and up to date on my vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped. I will need easy short walks to start with, to help build muscle back up on my injured leg. Gentle leg and hip massages seem to help as well if I am stiff. An Orthopedic dog bed will help to ease the pressure.

This animal is in need of a new foster home. Are you interested in fostering?
