Rescue Story:
I was rescued by the people of Zoe’s. I am from a community where I was bred repeatedly and was left to fight with other community dogs. It was not a happy start but I am loving life and my new beginning.

My Name is Miss Pixie Patrick or Miss wigglebum as my foster mom likes to call me. I am so happy living in my foster home. I dance for my food and am so grateful to be rescued. I love car rides, snuggles and giving all the kisses. Foster mom says enough kisses but nope I love my people so much I don’t want to stop giving kisses. I love to play with my ball and play tug and go for walkies. I am crate trained and I sleep in my crate at night. I would love to sleep in your bed at night if you’d let me. I am a super smart and clever girl. I met a trainer who said she wished she could train 100 dogs like me because I was so smart and motivated. I know some basic commands but it’s a work in progress.
Foster mom says I’m too big to be a lap dog but I try my hardest to sit at least partially on her lap. A perfect morning is lying with my head in my foster mom’s lap getting ear scritches and cheek massages. If you want to adopt a total lovebug I’m your gal. #sloppykisses are my speciality! Give me a peanutbutter #kong and I’ll love you forever. (well I love everyone anyways). #lovebug
About my Behaviour:
I am learning to not pull on the leash and to wear a muzzle while out on walks. I would excel in agility, I love to have my mind working and am very intense while doing so. Once I get it, I really get it. But if you want me to do something you have to be very clear and consistent so make sure the entire family also knows the rules otherwise I will exploit that fact. Positive reinforcement training is a must to help me be less pushy.
How’s my Health?
Healthy, vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Just before I was rescued I had a scuffle with another dog and had some stitches and a drain in my face but my little scars just add character.
